Jennifer was born and raised in Sweet Springs, Missouri. She currently lives in Lee’s Summit with her husband, Jim, and two beautiful children, Ava and Miles. She is so grateful for her family as they support her pursuit of her lifelong dream of owning an Independent Agency.
Jennifer has been in the insurance industry for 20 years, with 13 years in Corporate Insurance where she spent time in underwriting and auto, property, specialty and commercial claims.
Jennifer owned an exclusive agency for 6 years where she sold auto, home, life, and business insurance. Her exclusive agency was the top-selling and largest agency in the nation for several years. She received many awards including President’s Council, Topper’s Club, Agent of the Year as well as the prestigious Tyler & Leavey award.

With almost a decade of experience in the insurance industry, there isn’t much that Melanie cannot do. Whether it is management or system operations, her passion for helping others and seeing others succeed creates a work environment that promotes success and happiness.
Melanie takes that same interest in other people’s happiness home with her as she is also an amazing wife to her husband Dalton and a loving mother to her two little boys Emerson and Jaidyn.
Outside of work Melanie takes a strong liking to all sports having been a collegiate soccer player at Harding University in Arkansas. Taking pride in where she grew up, Melanie continues to cheer for the Razorbacks as well as being an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Melanie is also a coffee enthusiast and finds joy being surrounded by nature; going on walks with her family whenever time permits.
